Electrifying snowmobile trails of Quebec
First Taiga off-road charging sites ready for winter
The electric off-road charging network, that we announced earlier this year, welcomes the first 250-kilometer trail loop through the forests of the Mauricie and Lanaudière regions in Quebec.
We believe in a better snowmobile experience. Beyond quiet operation and unforgettable power, it’s important that you’re able to maximize the day out riding. This is why we took much care in placing the charging stops, blending great locations with powerful infrastructure.
The first two charging locations each feature Level 2 chargers, as well as two Level 3 DC Fast Chargers.
These two stops, installed within roughly 50 kilometers of each other, enable radial access to hundreds of kilometers of trails across picturesque Quebec.
Check out this full day, 250-kilometer scenic route made possible with short stops at these two new charging sites. Enjoy the area’s outfitters, snow-capped forests, and lakes.
Beginning the trip
Depart from Shawinigan, a city nestled between vast expanses of water and lakes and the boreal forest, directly onto the snowmobile trails (don’t forget your trail pass!)
First stop
Travel 80 kilometers to Le Baluchon* Éco-villégiature, hosts for Taiga Level 2.
Second stop
After another 80 kilometers through the trails, head towards Saint-Alexis-des-Monts to Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc**.
Reset and recharge at the last stop of the day before making the trip back through the forest.
**Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc is a full-service location with amenities and philosophy rooted in nature and an unforgettable experience.
Ending the trip
Load up and take off home after a great day on the trails and plug the sled in for an overnight charge. With home charging, your snowmobile is ready to go again when you are.
With this new off-road charging circuit we’re excited to connect urban areas, such as Shawinigan and Trois-Rivières, to snowmobile trails for sustainable exploration through unforgettable landscapes.
